Replaces a value in many files at once. Includes undo function, full reports, complete documentation. K-free is about finding and displaying the info you want quickly and easily. Advanced Features Include: Backup of each file changed with easy restore from a list of backups for the file. Recursive directory scanning (search all subdirectories) as well as specification of many directories to process at the same time. Logs all files changed. Display the list of files to be processed before making changes. Select files by name, date or size. Insert, remove or replace text. Whole Word only and optional case sensitive/case insensitive searching. Select last values searched for or used as a replace value. Find window allows two values to find as well as one to exclude. Interface is a full featured explorer replacement and shell program. K-free is quick and easy: - Quick because you get the chunk of text found immediately (in the list returned). - Quick because you just press F4 to display the file and find the first value. - Quick because you Press F6, F7 etc. to open it in another application. - And Powerful because you can enter a complex search including: . a list of words to find . a list of phrases to exclude, . only find when another word is on the same line . etc Additionally: K-free is a full featured file management and shell program allowing you to move/copy files or open files in other applications. K-free remembers all your settings, column widths, etc. It uses them every time you start. Even when Windows crashes the last settings used will be remembered.
