Count Characters allows you dump the contents of various combo,edit, list boxes, static, and button fields to the clipboard. Theprogram can also reveal the plain text counterpart to some Windowspassword edit fields. Count Characters can come in handy for browserlists and various items displayed by other applications to which youotherwise have no access. For example if some site asks you to onlyenter a certain amount of data in their fields but don't tell you thatyou went over until it's too late, Count Characters can be helpful.
CountCharacters is also interesting showing you a little about howapplications are built. The Count Characters dialog, for example,displays what type of controls are being used by a program.
Thedialog is maximizeable & minimizable and you can use Ctrl+C to putthe name of the control followed by the contents of the control intothe clipboard. count of the number of words being put into theclipboard.
